If you need housing:
If you've never been hosted before, prepare yourself for a great experience!
Being hosted is the best way to get to know dancers from other cities and have
an awesome "family" for the weekend. Let me know what you're looking for by
answering the following questions, and I'll do my best to pair you together with
a good host and crew for the weekend. Keep in mind that you may need to bring
some things with you ( e.g. blankets or towels) and many houses will include
floor spots as available space so an air mattress or sleeping pad may be a good
idea (or let me know if that's not OK for you). I'll hook you up with your host
by email in the weeks prior to the event so you'll know who your "family" is
going to be and of course we can always shift things around at any time if
something's wonky. But it won't be because you're going to love it!
If you might have housing for others:
If you've never hosted before, you're in for a treat! Hosting is the best way
to get to know dancers from other cities and they are a great group of people to
have as guests. Keep in mind that you are only responsible for making sure your
guests can get in and out of your house when they need to and providing the
basic amenities (like TP and a shower). You are NOT responsible for food,
transportation, or anything else that might cost you extra or be inconvenient
for you. I will connect hosts and guests by email in the weeks prior to the
event so you can coordinate with each other regarding what bedding or other
things you have or they need to bring with them. Most really just want a place
to shower and sleep, though of course will certainly be glad for any additional
input you care to give (you'll often see the development of a house "family" and
many groups choose to have a house dinner or outing at some point during the
weekend). I will be making a huge effort to pair guests with appropriate hosts
so please let me know the details of your home so I can make the best match!
